Minimum system efficiency is now 14 SEER for most installations and this years systems are the highest efficiency yet-up to 20 SEER! With energy costs skyrocketing and paychecks shrinking, it might be time to upgrade, especially if your system is more than 12 to 15 years old. Keep in mind that there are a lot of new requirements now in place that mandate along with efficiency standards, better installations with less leakage, wasted conditioned air, better air flow and a proper refrigerant charge. Of course, new standards and requirements add to the quality of the installation and add to the overall cost. 

Please Note: I have scaled back my business and generally will only be serving my existing customers and a few local referrals. I will not be doing any commercial work--no property managers, rentals, businesses, other contractors, etc. And no window/wall AC units nor floor or wall furnaces.
